  Worse locations of them all: check out how ratty their parking lot is, wonder what the kitchen is like lol. Decent lunch specials but wouldn't come here for dinner; small portions for big prices. Rather go to Kaya Malay, just a few blocks away, better vibe and food.

  Perfect place for small or large crowd. Food is outstanding. One of my favorite go back place for Malaysian cuisine

  The behaviour of the staff at this location was just inexcusable. To relate the incident: Upon informing the staff that I am mildly allergic to onions (a little bit is probably okay, but more than that would be uncomfortable later) and then ordering an item that doesn't have onions listed as an ingredient, the waitress advises me that that is probably isn't a problem and she'll double-check. All right, so far so good. Then another staff member (host, waiter, I honestly don't know) comes over and tells me (speaking to me directly) and I quote: "You're not allergic. You just don't like the taste." Suffice to say, I was quite offended and when I challenged him on it (without any resorting to any of the coarse language that occurred to me to use) he tells me. "Wow. You are very rude." In any event, we left immediately; fat chance of spending another second in that place! So yeah, I don't know if the other locations make a point to employ people that are just, absolutely awful to their customers, but I'm not about to find out. I won't be setting foot in this (or any) Banana Leaf ever again. And if you're thinking about dining there, when it says 'please inform your server if you have any allergies' on the menu; trust me, don't. It's not worth the bother.
