  Didn't have a great experience having our wedding here. When going in for our final meeting to pay the balance owing and confirm details, they had "lost" $2000 of our deposit and tried to charge us more than we owed. It was a hassle getting this sorted out and they made no effort to make good on their error. It's lucky I was organized and caught it! I also have Celiac Disease and was assured they could accommodate it. When I first arrived, I was happy the server brought a cheese platter for the brides room. When I noticed crackers on the plate, I asked the server if they were gluten free. She had no idea and went to ask the kitchen. She came back and said the crackers have gluten, but the cheese is okay.. even though they were on the same plate and touching! This is clearly not safe for anyone knowledgeable about allergies or celiac disease. Then, during the meal, the same server guided me through the buffet, holding my plate, and advising which items were gluten free. She told me several items were not safe for me, and when I told her we agreed beforehand that they would be safe, she insisted that I could not eat them. I was left with very few options that I was able to eat, going by her advice. I also had to advise my husband not to eat these items, as we couldn't kiss if he had eaten gluten, as it makes me very sick. When I brought this up to the Brock House organizers a few days after our wedding, they didn't care at all. They said the server must have been mistaken, most of the items were in fact gluten free, and it seemed like they didn't even believe us that she advised us wrong. They made no effort to rectify the situation or reimburse us for at least our meals, no gift card to come back or anything. Overall, guest were very pleased with the wedding, but it definitely was subpar service for the bride and groom despite us spending a whole lot of money at their establishment.

  Brock house is a beautiful and versatile venue for a wedding. They have all the resources you require making your planning and execution easier and more seamless. Their staff are friendly and helpful. Beyond the stunning outdoor and indoor elements of the property the food was a standout. We booked the venue for the entire day which made our setup and take down easier. The access to the beach from the property is perfect for photos, plus their are all sorts of amazing trees and structures around the grounds for pictures. This is helpful in reducing the time and distance required for getting all the gorgeous wedding photos you desire. Brock house is a place you can do nearly everything and have it look and feel diverse. We thoroughly loved our wedding at Brock house and cannot recommend it enough as a venue.
