  While I'm not big on some of their menu, I can't argue against the the quality of their food. I would like to see bigger portions for some of their selections. Basically you have to get an appetizer, main dish and desert to be full.

  Saturday lunch was very busy but the staff did a great job of moving people through without unreasonable waits. The service and the atmosphere are top notch, and the food is excellent. I was looking for that good comfort food and they did not disappoint.

  We visited here a couple of months ago after a nice walk along the False Creek seawall and when it started to rain we decided to stop by at "Burgoo" for lunch. It was our first time here and had fairly high hopes it would be decent. The interior was very nice and welcoming. The staff was friendly and the food was good. I was debating whether to have one of their soups and a sandwich/salad or something more hearty. I decided to have the Chicken Pot Pie, my friend had the French Onion Soup with the Gooey Cheese Grillers and a salad on the side. The chicken pot pie didn't look all that big when it was served to me, but ones you get under the flaky crust there was tons of yummy white chicken meat and I must say that it was very filling. Looks were very deceiving in this case! The service was very good, the food was very good and we enjoyed it very much. The prices were reasonable as well. Our server was very friendly and took plenty of time out for our wishes and chit chat. We will be back again in the future.
