  Very nice place for afternoon tea. However lunch combo is nothing special.

  (3.5 out of 5) Came here for the afternoon tea, on a rainy Sunday afternoon (closes at 6pm on Sundays). We order their afternoon tea which was $57 for 2 people. The ambiance was nice and quiet and were sat towards the rear of the store (away from the front where there was more in-and-out traffic) Service was good as the lady explained to us the different items and refilled water in our teas when necessary. Two tiers of sweets and savouries came. Their sweet items (light and fresh) were definitely much better than their savoury items (which we found to be a little dry and a bit more common). The scones and cream were fresh. We ordered the Fujiyama the (which is a rare Japanese Green Tea and the Casablanca (sweet mint and bergamot). The Casablanca was tasty and you could taste the aromatic flavours while the green tea I found, was a bit light for my taste. Overall I would try a few of the afternoon tea places in Kerrisdale as there is a lot of competition but I would definitely come back to order single slices of cakes and sweets.

  Pastry of the month - pineapple curd and lemongrass infused mousse with gingerbread base. light and refreshing. WELL WORTH A RETURN VISIT.
