  I must of been here in the last 20 years over 50 times. .this is the best Seafood place in my opinion. .the seafood platter for 2 is the best on the planet. .well worth the price. .the service is always consistent. ..drinks are always perfect. .I stop here every time I travel to Vancouver

  Joe Fortes is such a beautiful place. Inside it looks so classical, vintage and elegant. The patio at the top was so beautiful as well, and this is where we sat. I enjoyed my white wine sangria, however it wasn't as flavourful as I would have liked it to be. Also, our server was not the best. She gave us the wrong drinks, was not very friendly and generally had a poor attitude. If I would ask her a question about something on the menu, her tone of voice made it sound like I was stupid for asking. However, that was just one experience with a server. The place inside looks beautiful, and the rest of the items we ordered did taste very good.

  When asked where my favorite restaurant in the city is I often say Joe Fortes. I love seafood and there are few places that can rival it in the city. Its atmosphere is full energetic and lively. Even though tables can be close together all the energy and noise lead to a sense of intimacy. The food is spectacular, I have never had a bad meal here. It is on the higher end, but well worth the price tag. If you like seafood and don't mind a loud restaurant Joe Fortes is absolutely awesome and I can't recommend it enough

  Great service! Delicious food and time spending on the top roof patio, in which we were invited after sitting inside. Recommend. Guinness didn't taste like European one. Three fish / seafood linguine
