  You know how it's great to have that one reliable place where they don't gouge you for a burger and a beer, where the burger is pretty darned tasty and the service is good and the beer is local? Yup, this is that place. Plus they have chicken and waffles. Bonus.

  Vintage in a trendy way. The food was fantastic. Prices are pretty standard for a burger place. It is not the same resturaut it was 10 years ago, it is full of hipster type people and lacks the true east van feel I remember. Gentrification strikes again.

  Amazing food. Their burgers are the best. Chicken and waffles are also awesome. All their meat is from the butcher next door so you know it's top notch. In a very grungy part of town with no parking, but worth it.

  Awesome food. Great staff. Works with the locals . Ethics! Treats people like people. Love the tokens. Never turns anyone who is hungry away. Gives everyone water, and fills anyone from the streets water bottles! No attitude given just respect!
