  This place is magical-- that's the first word that came to mind when I went in. The employees were super helpful, they had free coffee that was delicious, and the selection was enormous! I'm confident you could find just about any plant you're looking for at Southlands. The prices are pretty reasonable too. I got cilantro, basil, rosemary, and sage plants, plus four terra cotta pots all for about $30. I think the herbs were 4.99 each and every single one looked very healthy. I'll definitely be returning soon!

  Good urban source for David Austen roses and tree peonies (Florissa is the supplier). They emphasize in ornamental plants, with a bit of fruit / herb plants at the back of the indoor area. They also have quite a few antique outdoor decorations mostly from European and 19th century.

  Great selection of seeds, herbs and mature starters. The succulents are healthy too. Also a free cuppa coffee while you browse. They have varieties of plants that I have not seen before. Beautiful pottery too.

  It's a beautiful little nursery in the middle of one of the most scenic parts of vancouver. The plants they have are good very healthy albeit a bit pricey. There is no particular specialty in terms of species of plants available there , but it is still special place: to me it feels more like a journey than a destination.

  This is one of the great nurseries and Thomas Hobbs one of Canada's greatest nurserymen and horticulturists. Southland is always a source of wonder and delight. Such a pleasure!
