This place is basically a little redwood forest sitting next to an ocean which is next to an incredible cityscape. My husband and I spent a full day here, walking around and exploring. It is a great place to go running or biking and it makes for a pretty romantic walk as well. There are restrooms around the park and there's also an ice cream shop. Must see.

1000 acres of Forrest with an aquarium, open air theatre, sea wall, cricket oval, lake, wildlife, road... the list goes on. You pay a lot for parking but there's a bus service to take you here or just walk to the park if you are staying downtown. Such a beautiful place, you won't be disappointed if you come here and explore. Don't forget to check out the abandoned polar bear enclosure next to the aquarium.
