  Lovely gallery in a beautiful building and location. One of the best if not best Emily Carr exhibits around. I would definitely recommend taking a few hours to take in the art and the atmosphere.

  I've only rated this as OK because 2 of the 4 floors of exhibitions were off limits for installation and/or refurbishments at the time of our visit, I'm not 100% sure which. To their credit the gallery was offering $5 off each full price ticket but as we'd pre-paid for our ticket we obviously lost out on that discount. Bit underwhelming but some interesting pieces.

  Disappointed. Lack of good Communication by Vancouver Art Gallery. Only after waiting in line for ticket Office and Just before paying the entrance fee we were informed that only 2 Floors were open This week. Put Up a billboard Up front. Communicate it on your website. We Didn't go in. Lost couple of hours

  Excellent gallery for a small city. As a member I feel the turn over is pretty quick between exhibitions. Displays always well presented/curated. Nice gift shop with 10% off for members (cheap for students). Nice upscale cafe with great patio for a bite to eat or some drinks. Membership includes Fuse events (~22$). Can't wait for the new building set for construction.
