  My favourite sushi restaurant - and I've been to many. The regular server is lovely and is always very welcoming. The food itself is great and is some of the best sushi I've tasted here in Vancouver - and I've visited various other restaurants around the same price range. This place is also a local favourite. During peak hours there is sometimes a wait, but I've been here many times during such times and I have always recieved a table, and never had to wait too long for it.

  We order from here regularly. We love the food. Occasionally I go there for lunch. Unlike the other reviews here I find the head waitress to be quite moody. One day she was so grumpy she thumped my miso soup onto the table spilling and walked away with no eye contact. The only possible thing I could think of was that I sat at 4 person table by myself. But it was 2pm and there were only 2 other people there. Who knows. I just hope they read this and try to be more friendly even when one of the staff is having a bad day. Otherwise I totally support this restaurant and hope it will thrive with the new developments in the area.

  Holy crap I wish I took a picture of this place. We were on our way to somewhere else and freezing our asses off. Spotted this place and the first thing to happen was the waitress opening the door for us and greeting us with hot tea. Get the Philly roll and the spider and you will not be upset.

  The food was great but the service really wasn't good at all. When we arrived at the door, she didn't even walk over at all. She just yelled across the restaurant asking how many seats we needed. ?? Then, when we were seated, someone at the table beside us dropped their coca cola. The woman didn't come over to help until two minutes had passed. She was obviously well aware that there was a spill. When she did come, she only brought a roll of paper towels and left it for the guests to clean up. ?? We waited so long for our food too. Did not have a good time.
